ROGER C H LUSCOMBE
Roger Luscombe spent nearly 20 years working for three leading 'blue chip' international investment banks and a top management consultancy firm (McKinsey) on both sides of the Atlantic before founding CCP as a Private Equity Corporate Finance boutique in 1997. He has been close to the private equity arena in many of his prior City roles eg.
  ● At Schroders he was part of the team that planned the start of Schroder Ventures in the early 1980's
● At Morgan Stanley, as head of UK Corporate Finance, he started the Bank's Financial Sponsorship group and raised capital for the Bank's LBO funds
● At Dillon Read he sat on the Charterhouse Development Capital Investment Committee in the early 1990's


Since founding CCP he has advised on acquisitions, disposals and equity capital raising among the UK's development capital community as well as private companies and multinationals. These transactions included the sale of Panorama to Airtours, the acquisition of one of Europe's largest IT staffing companies (Elan Computing) for Manpower, the sale of Europe's largest adventure travel company to Holidaybreak and, more recently, the sale of the UK's largest online recruitment company Jobsite to DMGT. In addition he has worked on fund raising for a number of mid market European private equity GPs.

He studied at Harvard in 1977-78 on a Harkness Fellowship and was recruited from a PhD programme to join McKinsey on assignments in Washington, New York, London and Hong Kong. He has a First Class Honours degree from Reading University as well as a master's degree from Harvard where he studied Business and Government.
